EMAIL in contact leads to close program

If we try to send an email in the contact form, the interaction dialog starts. (version 4.1 and 4.0) After filling in the first page (Section) and going to the 2nd page the program terminates without warning :evil: . Debugger does not tell anything. I heard that this has something to do with a faulty or unregistered dll. Can somebody point out what should be done to overcome this flaw?
I see that a lot of people are capable of sending emails so what is going wrong???
