New Dynamics logo

Well I found it on a public blog, so I guess I can link to it now
. I went to the Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005 and Biztalk 2006 Launch Event in Detroit yesterday, and was surprised to see a logo for Microsoft Dynamics. It was used in a general introductory presentation that wasn't even on the resource dvd, and I also found it on some other printed material in the partner area. I don't think it is officially released yet, but I found a blog that shows the logo at http://blog.sonomapartners.com/microsof ... solutions/.
Go take a look and tell us what you think. I think it is too fancy. I like the reference to the windows colors, but I don't like the planes overlapping and the colors that blend over. There are 4 colors in the Windows logo, and I think it would have been nicer to have a logo with 4 parts if they really wanted to use the color. Anyway, that's my $0.02.
Be careful how you use it though, I don't think this is meant for public use yet. It's certainly not yet approved for any commercial use.

Why only three columns? It should be 4 because they have 4 ERP systems. Or are they cutting one out? And I'm sorry about releasing some non public info. Most of the info I've gathered came from the partner source slides, and I have not attended any of your meetings.0

I know I don't like the three thingies either, especially the one that goes from red to yellow. I don't like the changed color on the overlapping ones either. At the launch event the slide was a little blurry (because I didn't have my glasses on
) and it almost looked like 4 sails and I thought 'COOL', but when I saw the actual logo on a brochure I was disappointed.
There are more than 4 apps going into Dynamics by the way. NAV, GP, AX, SL, CRM makes 5, and there are a couple of additional ones that they consider part of MBS as well, like Business Analytics, Retail Management, Small Business Financials. They're pulling stuff into Dynamics from all of those apps.0 -
I've already got the general logo.
But has someone got the logo with the "NAV" displayed ?0 -
It is used in this factsheet: https://mbs.microsoft.com/downloads/par ... tSheet.docHalMdy wrote:[...]

You American guys come across the new accounting package they have launched in America. We have a small account package here in the UK called Sage. I think they will be a bit worried now. Most of our clients have come from Sage to Navision...0

Yes, I remember hearing about sage here in NL. Do you have a website with details about this product?0
-
Just Google it.....
You should find a link....it's a good product for small businesses but it's not intergrated to the extent Navision is and the developing within it is a nightmare...costs a dame fortune.0 -
