If you use the . key on the numeric keypad in Navision, it will give you a ,
(in other windows application, it wil give you a classic . sign)

Is there a possibility to change this in Navision ? To have the normal . on this . key of the numeric keypad ??

Thank in advance for your help !

I have the same problem. It's annoying.
Changing Regional Settings or Keyboard settngs doesn't solve this issue.
Maybe Microsoft could fix this in SP2 ??

Thats really odd. What version and local are you using?

I just tested it in 3.70 SP2 with Australian version and works fine here. I'd also say it works in 2.01, 2.60, 3.60, 4.00 as I've been using all them over the past 2 years and never had the problem and I use numpad almost exclusively for entering in amounts so I assume I would have encounted the problem before.

    On 3.10A with a Belgian-Dutch locale it also replaces the . with a ,
I'd like too to have that turned off.

I think it is purely a regional settings/options problem.
In Italy is also used the decimal "," but I changed the regional settings/options to use the UK-settings and I have all with decimal ".". Negative can be that the decimal "." is used everywhere.

    Did some tests again.
It seems to be depending on Regional settings.
Settings with a , as a decimal seperator use the numlock dot different in Navision than in other (Microsoft) operations. Pressing the . returns a , in Navision!

This has been so in navision for ages, maybe it will be different in the new misterious 5-serie. :D

People in US and UK don't have this problem since their decimal sign is a '.'

Thanks all of you for the replies !

    In conclusion :
this problem can be solved by changing the regional settings
but the user must switch from an "european view" to an "english view" for the numbers and so on

it wil be nice that this parameter can be change in navision as an option ...
