Different C/ODBC Versions on 1 PC

I need to use C/ODBC to read different NF version databases (from 2.1 to 2.6). The 2.6 C/ODBC driver isn't backwards compatible.
Does anyone know how to install the 2.6 C/ODBC driver so that it doesn't overwrite the 2.1 driver and so that it appears as a separate driver in the ODBC Data Source Administrator?
Ideas much appreciated...
