Permission Wizard for Version 4.0 ?

Hi

I had download the permission wizard and is working fine for version 3.70 however when i do the same thing and make use of the code coverage to capature the necessary table. form etc. for a new role call purchaser in version 4.0.
After assiging to the user login and log in as ther user i am not able to view the PO screen.

For the permission wizard if there any enhance version for Navision 4.0 ?

If it is on MS SQL - did you run Synchronize function after that?

Hi

The customer is using Ms-SQL however i did not run the Synchronize function as i am testing on the local database.

Any idea to fix it ?

The Code Coverage catch only objects, in which is some C/AL code called. It means, that if you did not fired some trigger on some table, the table will be not included in the role. If you will use client monitor, you can create role with all needed tables and you can assign only permissions needed (because you know if you need only read, or insert, delete etc.)

Hi,

we are using Navison 4.0 with MS-Sql as the Database.
Are there any intensions on your side to make a proper
Persmission Wizard for SQL-Users.
The main problem is that,as you already mentioned, not all the
accesses to the tables are recorded by the code coverage.
For example the flowfields, you do need select-permission on these Tabel under MS-Sql.
Do you have any sugestions to solve this problem.
Just do a "try and error" is not so good because of the synchonisation duration.

You can record that through Client Monitor. It catch CALCSUMS and you have from which table...
