navision link opens new application

On a site, customers where using NF 2.60. Because of the need to have NAS, the database was opened to with a MBS 3.70B client, and all pc's got the new MBS 3.70B client as well. However, instead of installing the client through the regular msi-file, only the program files/Microsoft Business Solutions 3.70B folder was copied.

When they now open a navision link ([url=navision://client/run?servername=]navision://client/run?servername=[/url] ...), each time they click the link, a new instance of Navision is created, instead of activating the current instance opened with the link.

We allready tried to make some changes in the registry (see below) and to register some dll's (e.g. ROTaccess.dll). However, without any luck. Is there anybody out there that has another idea for solving this problem (besides making a clean install through the setup msi-file) ?
