Hi,

My customer wants to generate faxes without entering the fax-numbers manually.
So i thought of using an automation control for that. he uses Fritz!Fax Software.

Does anyone have experience in this kind of topic ?

Thanx for your help <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif" />

I tried many times with different solutions, but never found a convenient solution with a local based fax software.
If you have a unix or linux machine available in your net you can install hylafax and use the whfc-client on the Windows-workstations.
There is a pretty good description available how to connect via ole. I never tried from navision but I'm sure that there is a stable and good way to do with this freeware.

This is possible with DAVID from the famous German Softwarehouse TOBIT in Ahaus. DAVID is offered from the singleuserversion called DAVIDone up to the Networksolutions DAVIDprofessional. You just print the Number, the subject, the time you wish the fax to be sent, etc. within the document. These commandlines are filtered so that they don't appear on the fax. Here we use DAVIDpro for sending Faxes, Mails and SMS-Messages directly from Navision.

    Have a nice day
