I have problem in creating Production order.

I have entered a line in the sales order. The item has its own Base unit of measure and has its own Bill of materials. When I enter the sales line I change the unit of measure with respect to its packing. The unit of measure in sales line is has the "Qty per unit of Measure" in multiple of its base unit of measure.

For this line if i create a production order, The first line of the production order shows the quantity as it is in the sales line. But when its BOM explodes it does not multiply the Quantity in the sales order and the "Qty per unit of Measure".

But in purchase,Sales & other item journals it takes different unit of measure and the inventory is updated with its base unit of measure.

Why it is not in the Production order. Is it really like that or do we have to follow any other steps to achieve this.
Please help.
