Navision Job Scheduler - Backup problem

Hi guys,

We're running 3.60, and currently have various routines which mean the Job Scheduler is running 24/7. But the Scheduler gets disrupted by our backup system.

Anyone know how I can schedule a job to cancel the Scheduler at a certain time of day (so the backup can run), and what sort of command i'd need to get the Backup program to run when it's finished (to restart the Scheduler)?

I see 2 possibilities:
1) If you want to do this automatically, you need NAS. And a script to stop the NAS and the DB-server, copy the files, then restart DB-server and NAS.
2) try HOTCOPY. This should not interfere with the scheduler
