I’m exploring how organizations can build enterprise analytics solutions that deliver trusted, consistent, and governed business insights across teams. Even with tools like Business Central, Power BI, Dataverse, or SQL-based data models, many companies still experience data silos, conflicting KPIs, inconsistent reporting, or unclear data ownership.
I’d appreciate insights on the following:
- What best practices help ensure consistent KPIs and metrics across departments?
- How important is having a unified data model or semantic model?
- What role do integrations between BC, SQL data models, and Power BI play in producing consistent insights?
- How do teams manage data governance, data quality, lineage, and cataloging?
- What challenges have you faced when scaling analytics across an organization?
I’m looking to understand what approaches, tools, or strategies have worked for you in building analytics that users can trust at an enterprise scale.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
