yeah found out about two weeks ago. It's realy sad that they spend so much on marketing and not delivering a one solution. All they are doing is confusing new customers, who wouldn't know which product to choose. And they postponed the release of navision 5 by 6 to 12 months, because other products haven't cought up to their Wave 1 and 2. And with their restructuring recently, MBS is now part of Office team, what will happen next? Another new Name?

My friends asked me what am I working on. I told them Navision, and most of them doesn't know what is Navision, but most of them know SAP. I spent quite some time to spread the news of Navision. Now, they must be thinking I'm working on some other products. :^o

Beside that, it's more fluent to pronounce as Navision than Dynamics Nav.

How about MIBUSO, necessary to change domain name as well? to what name?
MIDYNA, MSDYNAV, MSDNAV, MSDN (used), MDNAV, DynaV... :-s

See also this thread: Microsoft Dynamics.
I have created a new domain already, but until further notice, MIBUSO is the way to go [-o<

Anybody can confirm that Navision 5.0 the IDE will be Visual Studio. The language will still be C/AL?

Also are there any screenshots of Navision 5? I saw only one.

And Axapta will be Microsoft Dynamics AX. Sounds like dynamic sex, :D:D

Do It Yourself is they key. Standard code might work - your code surely works.

Let's keep it nice and clean here OK?

But you ARE right, it sounds kind of silly. :D

Poor salespeople, trying to sell it. :(

Time to get the check book ready for lots of updates:
    1. New business cards
    2. Update websites, links, Yahoo etc.
    3. Notify clients, newsletters
    4. Update all inhouse materials, brochers.
    5. Update word/excel/powerpoint presentations.
Cost is going up and Microsoft doesn't care.
Oh did I mention new Navision signs in your office/windows/Books/Folders/Trade shows etc.

that reminds me of when they changed our area code from 516 to 631 because they were running out of phone numbers.

everybody had to change their cards, forms, catalogs etc else our phone #'s would be wrong

*Hey i have an idea why not just give the new numbers the new area code so it's not such big expense for every company. :-s

    oops lost focus there.. :-#
