Re-numbering FOBS

Hi all
Does anyone have any experience in re-numbering a lot of Objects all in one go. I wish to re-order them.
The problem i see being that the links within the forms, reports etc do not automatically update when you change the Object number.
the only way i can see to do it is to export all the Objects to a txt file and parsing through them. Is this the only way?
If you can help i would be much abliged

You can do it by exporting to text file and doing search and replace in Notepad. It's a pain but it can be done.
There is/was a renumbering tool around somewhere which operated on this principle. It was a set of objects that you loaded into a Navision database. You exported the objects as text files, loaded the text files into the database and then setup the renumbering and it would do it all for you. Unfortunately I can't find my copy at the moment.
I understand that the new developers toolkit will incorporate a renumbering feature in an upcoming version.
Cheers,
