can nav2013 run on windows server 2022 with sql 2022 ?

hi , im new to this . recently my company purchase servers with windows server 2022 with sql 2022 . my software vendor keep asking my company to upgrade to BC because the OS and SQL version are not compatible with Microsoft Dynamic Nav 2013 . does it really cannot run ? if cannot run is there anyway to run it ?

It might run, or not. Microsoft officially does not support this setup. if it does run (with some workarounds perhaps) you will be one of few who run nav this way. So issues will pop up probably even when you are running this setup in prod. Your software vendor then is expected to provide quick solutions to keep you up and running each time. Updates for Windows server 2022 and sql 2022 are not tested by MS with nav2013. So new problems keep popping up. Your software vendor is unwilling to take that risk. They don't know if they are able to keep you up and running that way. Who would take that risk?
