Attribute 'processPath' is required

Has anybody come across this, and knows how to fix it?
I've just installed the new BC24 on my local machine. Just a clean installation without specifying anything. But when I try to run the site from the IIS, I get an error saying that localhost can't handle the request.
Looking in the event log, it's just a simple error message saying
Could not load configuration. Exception message:
Attribute 'processPath' is required.
The BC service itself starts and stops without any problem. But for some reason I can't start the webclient.
