Business Central Docker Container not working with hostname?

Using Docker Desktop I have created a new BC container.

I am able to access it through 1XX.XX.XX.1/BC (example IP) but not through stefan/BC (which is the name of the container).

My hosts file has the correct values (it updates whenever I run the container) and I have read permissions on it.

Whenever I publish an app from VSCode it opens up stefan/BC which then gives me the "cannot connect" error. I then have to manually paste the IP adress to be able to access Business Central.

Has anyone experienced this problem and do they know how to fix it?

Do you develop/publish from same machine as the docker host?
Do you create your BC container with bccontainerhelper?
