Price includes VAT by default on Item Card?

Is there any easy way to make the system to assume and set "Price includes VAT" to true whenever an item is created?
I tried subscribe to "OnAfterOnInsert" from Item table and make it to true. But it throws an error the VAT Prod. Posting group field not populated yet.
