NAS & NaVsion Standard 4.0

Hello,

Can NAS (NaVision Application Server) work with NaVision Standard 4.0? In order to use NAS, do I have to have NaVision Professional Version? This is a license issue question. We heard different answers from different NaVision resellers.

Thanks!

there is no navision standard and anvision professional. When you get your license, you get one free user NAS License.

    Hi, ara3n
    Thanks a lot!
Is it Granule "1,420 Application Server 1" in the license file?

if you look at your config.txt file that comes with your flf file You'll see the following at the bottom. The Application Server is your NAS

    Maximum No. of Sessions
    Total....................: 136
    Any......................: 134
    Application Server.......: 1

To clarify this... you get one instance of NAS with your G/L granule. It should show up Like ara3n says. When you buy an additional one, it should show up the way you said, in the granule list.

    Hello, ra3n and DenSter,

Thank you very much for your information!
    May I have another question?

How do I use NAS if I donot have Developer license? I can not modify unitcode #1.

    Many thanks!

Unless you'll use the NAS for Commerce Gateway or ADCS, you can't use it without adding code in the NASHandler trigger (99) in codeunit 1.
