CurrReport.Quit causes Error in Windows EventLog (NavControlException)

Hey guys,
I recently got a evtx event log export from a customer and wondering about the reason for errors like this
obviously cause by this code
I'm not sure if that is somehow normal or bad coding of my developers. Does someone of you has an explanation or opinion on that?
It is BC20.4 on-premises.
