Setfilter Problem

Using a Setfilter i am trying to filter out 2 values that i don't want to pick up but it only filters out the first value. Any ideas how i can do this? I have tried to use SETFILTER(field,'<> value1|value2') but this is not working

Have you tried SETFILTER(field,'<>value1&<>value2')?
