Got this example from Microsoft doc
GetRANGEMAX gets max value from a filter on a field:
CustomerRec.SETFILTER("No.",'100..200');
Val := CustomerRec.GETRANGEMAX("No.");
MESSAGE(Text000, Val);
Above will return 200.
This means that GETRANGEMIN will get 100.
There can be plenty of use to know minimum value of a filter and maximum filter of a value. What is your scenario?

I think they aren't used very often but I could provide you an example.
You've process some kind regarding customers and you want to process them in block, so you can use getrangemax to know you're last range processed.
