Navision VCR buttons versus Zup File

Hi,
I have a weird question.
One of our clients has an issue with Navision 3.60. For some reason are the VCR buttons (browse buttons on top of the screen) not working anymore when trying to go a next record or previous record etc. When removing the .ZUP file everything works fine again. This happens on a frequent base. Is there something wrong with the 3.60 executable or something else?
Please advise.

Hi Roelof,
It sounds like they might have a filter set that is limiting their view to
1 record only. By deleting the zup file the system will automatically clear any filters they might have set.
In order to see if they have any filters set have a look at the status bar, it will say FILTER in the right hand corner if any filters have been applied. The user will then need to click on the Show All button to remove their filter.
Hope this helps you out a bit. This isn't a signature, I type this at the bottom of every message0 -
Hi Steve,
If you read my email carefully then that is what I'm saying.
But it happens too often. I would like to know what causes this problem.
Thanks,

Thanks,

If you'd read steve's posting carefully you'd see that he gave the suggestion to look at the word filter in status bar....regards,

oh, what day is it? Backup day. OK, let's dump all data to /dev/nul ;-)0 -
So when your customer calls you with this problem, ask them to click the 'show all' button and see if the VCR buttons still act funky. If they do, have them clear the flowfilters too and then see what happens. If that also fails, it's not the filters0

Well, let me rephrase this. The reason why we removed the zup file WAS because of deleting of all filter settings AFTER we tried the SHOW ALL buttons.
Any ideas?

DenSter: we tried the 'Show All' button and remove all flowfields.
That was not successfull. We deleted the zup file and it worked but after a couple of days the same thing happened again.Roelof de Jonghttp://www.wye.com0 -
I have no idea what could cause something like that, other than filter settings. Have you contected MS support about this yet? Usually they have seen things like this before.0

Hello Roelof,
We have the same issue.
Navision 3.60
We also tried the 'Show All' button and remove all flowfields.
That was not successfull. We deleted the zup file and it worked but after a couple of days the same thing happened again.
It takes place by only one user.
Do you have already an answer for this problem ? :P

I think the problem exists between the chair and mouse. SP2 is rumored to fix this problem, but it has been delayed for 100's of years. There is no data, only bool!0

Hello THAUG,
Thanks for your reaction.
I'll try the keybord combination when it happens.
I'll inform you about the results.
Best regards, Wilbert0
