How Lot no tracking works for a component in Work orders?

How lot no tracking Works at various stages of Work order process?
While creating a work order, whether it is placed in any table...?
Also while creating a warehouse Pick (not posted) where it is stored ? Where it is placed in order to check how much quantity is reserved for one component while creating a pick (just creation only not posted) for a component in work order?


Please help.
Lot no tracking is enabled for the items now. We are just in confusion to know how the lot tracking works/where it reflects at various stages of production? Please help. please....
