Cannot send an e-mail.

Hi

There is a function that can create a invoice PDF document and send the document via e-mail functionality.

But I got this error when the function is called. The function can create PDF document but not start the mail program.

The error is some think like automation error.



But I have checked the Codeunit 400 "SMTP Mail" where the automation is set.

Outlook is also installed on the same mashing/server.

What is wrong here?

What version of NAV and Outlook are you using. It seems like there might be a compatability issue.
I have seen this with older NAV versions, trying to send though an updated Office

With a NAV2009R2 compatability with any newer office solution is the most likely.
