Business Central access issue

I am having an issue whereby users are receiving the following error when trying to access the V17 Business central web client

You do not have access to Dynamics 365 Business Central. Verify that you have been set up as a valid user in Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The following extract of the error appears on the IIS servers event log

Unhandled error occurred on a browser or device client:

All the users receiving the error are valid users in the database. This unexpectedly started happening a few days ago. The users are using the MS Edge or chrome browsers.

They are on CU17.8 of business central.

Does anyone have any ideas?

    Has this been resolved? Looks like bc web client setting might have been changed and now set to look at different instance of bc where users do not have any access.
