Dynamics NAV 2017 - Event Publishers not working

My company is converting From Dynamics NAV 2017 to the latest version of Business Central. I'm trying to prepare the old code for conversion, but the only info I can find about Event Publishers is for later versions. I've tried following an example for 2018, but it doesn't seem to work in 2017. Ideas where I can look? Thanks,

NAV 2017 does not support AL, so everything is in the traditional C/AL Objects. There nothing changed. For both, published events and event handler, you need to set the Event property of the corresponding function, and additional properties that will be shown, once you set the Event property.
