3.70B SQL crash when connecting

We have a customer running NF2.60 using SQL 2000. They are now going to be upgraded to the 3.70B run-time. We started by copying the existing SQL DB to a new DB to keep for test and backup. Next we tried to connect the 3.70B client to the old DB expecting to get the "You cannot use... Take a backup and restore..." error message. It is possible to lookup the server, but the when looking up the Databasename the client crashed. Then we wrote the Databasename and pressed ok - crash :-( Well, then we tried creating a new db using 3.70B. Again a crash. No error message, the only trace of the crash is in the EventLog where it say something about unknown EventID 1000. We have tried both with and without Update1 - no change. The NF260 is connecting using "TCP/IP Sockets" and not using the default connection. This was also done in 3.70B - still no change.

Any idea on what to try or look for?

Which version of xp_ndo.dll you are using?

None, they are using Database autorization.
But it turned out to be a problem with MDAC. A re-installation of that solved the problem. But thanks :-)
