Onprem App version downgrade

Is it, in any way, possible to downgrade a custom app (onprem) ?
For instance v. x.x.x.3 to v. x.x.x.2, without deleting all app data?
The downgrade should only forcefully overwrite the schema.
Any help would be appreciated!
