In standard NAV, is approving an Approval Request supposed to send an email to the requestor?

Hi

Can't quite figure out this one, so decided it's easier to ask the community!
Looking at the code in Codeunit 439 "Approvals Management", function ApproveApprovalRequest(), I don't think it is programmed to do it.
Anyone here able to confirm or otherwise?

    Yes, you are supposed to get a notification
