Hi everybody

does anyone of you know if there is a chance to configure CP in a way that the internet user can fill the shoping cart without logging in?

If he/she is not registered or logged in this should be possible within order processing?

best regards

Marco

    Yes it's possible.
The Commerce Server managing the authentication on the web pages and commerce server provides you 2 kind of users. The standard Navision CP demo version has been designed only to allow registered Internet users to access the web pages which you define in Contact Card. Nevertheless Commerce Server Authentication component classes allow you to authenticate anonymous user by passing the GUID-ID as parameters. There are some component that able to generate GUID-ID.

However there are other aspect you need to consider which to let each guess Internet user to have their own shopping cart. Again standard CP Navision will tied login ID to the Commerce Server shopping cart and you need to customize this portion.

Once the guess users made the confirmation on what they want to order in shopping cart, we can proceed with filling up the Internet users information, payment, shipment address, etc. You can think of creating one web login at Navision contact to serve all guess users, or may be after the first shopping you give them the web account for next time use.

Hopefully above explanation can help your doubt
