Cannot access help in my desktop.

Hi all,

I cannot access the help with the url: http://desktop-ijtkh1g:49000/main.aspx?lang=en&content=S_HOMEPAGE.htm where desktop-ijtkh1g is my desktop name, but can access the help using http://localhost:49000/main.aspx?lang=en&content=S_HOMEPAGE.htm.

The issue is when is click on f1 or help in Dynamics NAV 2016 it is redirecting to desktop-ijtkh1g:49000 insted of localhost:49000.

the Setting for the Help Server is stored in the ClientUserSettings.config.

Usually it's stored under C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\110

<username> -> your username
110 -> depends on the version

The Setting you have to modify is the "HelpServer".
