Preferred connection cache hit rate very low

in NAV Three Tier
Hi

The preferred connection cache hit rate on our NAV 2015 application server is very low.
The data cache size on the service is 12, so 4GB cache for around 45 ursers.
Our application server and sql server are both VM's hosted on a onprem VxRail.

Any idea how we can improve this rate?
