Object changes not reflected on Client

Hi,
One of our clients, running on Nav 2009R2, has an issue with object caching on the RTC: the MetadataProviderCacheSize has been set to zero, however if there is a change in any object, they need to restart the service to have it working.
Does anyone has a clue why this is happening. This problem is on their development environment and its pretty akward having constantly to restart the service.
Thanks

Try turning on the object change listener on the SQL database and then restart the NST. It's called the Service Broken in SQL, but NAV uses that as its object change listener.
