Option and Enum.

Hi experts,
I would like to ask about the relation between Option and Enum.
If my existing customized table got the option field, could I change it to enum field?
May I know the existing option data will be lost?

They go one to one, as long as the integer behind is the same.

Option is a used in NAV, enum which is actually a enumerator is not a standard NAv Data type but a dotnet one, They both have different option which is identified by an integer.

Enum is a standard NAV datatype.
Option datatype is Obsolete!

Enum got introduced in Business Central
