Hi,
Our Nav is set to Central time and when looking at Creation DateTime for example in Item Ledger Entries, the timestamp is shown in Central Time. However, when I exported data to excel via Prin&Send >MS Excel, the timestamp on the spreadsheet is an hour ahead which is Eastern Timezone which I believe that's where our server is located.
Is there a way to fix this in such a way when we export data to Excel, it will still follows Central time zone? Also, I'm curious what timezone Nav follows when storing data to the database. Does it follow the timezone of the database server?
Please help. Thanks!

Datetimes are stored as UTC in the DB and NAV converts it on the fly.
Date and Time fields are stored with the value you give it.
Excel connects directly to the service tier I think, so it takes the timezone defined on the service tier level. Not sure if there is an easy fix. The only one that comes in mind now is to have change the timezone on the servers.
