Error is coming while posting an positive adjustment entry

Dear All,

" Select a dimension Value code for the dimension code DEPT for G/L Account 445200 "
the above shown error is coming while posting a Positive adjustment entry.

what all changes we made are as follows

*) up to this ,the department code is not set as mandatory.Now the department code is set as mandatory in its dimension for the G/L account: 445200. *) Upto this time division code is inserted in place of Department code. when we try to post the positive adjustment after making above modifications ,the above error is coming.please help to resolve. I am not much efficient in dimension setup. please help

If the DEPT dimension is set up as mandatory, you must specify a dimension value for DEPT related to your positive adjustment. The error message is telling you exactly that. Set a value for DEPT dimension and try to post again

I selected a value for dept but then also same error is coming.
