"Table Sales Header already exists"
We get this message approx 3 times a day. The order input blocks, and i have to change the last used nummer manually (add 1).
We did not yet find the reason for this blocking, neither could out nsc.
Any suggestions ?
We use WinNT server with Win98 clients.

It is an unfortunate shortcoming of the number series generating code. If a user manually enters an order number in the series, and the order has not been posted, the number series management code will generate that number and try to assign it to an order. That causes the "already exists" error.
You should set the numbering series to disallow manual numbering.
Or track down the user that is entering the numbers manually and educate them.

I think it is a bug in NF, but our consultant disagrees.
Nevertheles, no solution was found !

Has anyone modified the Sales Header table or Sales Order form? If so, they may have introduced a bug.
