Session expired when logging on

Hello,
We are currently upgrading from NAV2017 to BC14 (CU8). On a handheld scanner (Datalogic with Android 6.0.1) we use the NAV app. This works fine in NAV2017, but with BC14 we immediately get the message "Sorry, your session expired. Please refresh to continue" after log in. The App is updated to version 2.6.9101 (latest in the store?). On my phone (Android 9) it works with the same user and app version.
I also installed the new app (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) on the scanner, and I get the same problem. This new app also works on my phone.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the issue?
