FA Depreciation

Hi,

I am having some problems with FA Depreciation. I have an asset that should fully depreciate over 10 years, and is due to fully depreciate this year. It currently has a book value of 11,052. We are migrating from Sage to Navision. The Acquisition Cost of 153,023.00 and the depreciation so far of -141,971.00 were both posted as opening balances. With a posting date of 01/01/05.

The depreciation method is straight line.

Sage depreciated the asset at a rate of 1275.19 per month with the formula:

(Acuisition Cost/No of Depreciation Years)/12

When I run the depreciation batch job in Navision it calculates 892.78 per month. Can anyone explain why this is the case?
