I am trying to copy entries from G/L entry table about 25000 records, and is taking about 1hour. Is it hardware problem? how to improve the performance?

To improve performance of an export of this size, your should create an XMLport that exports your data. By Copy and Pasting your are storing the data in the local pcs Clipboard.
That will give you performance issues with such a large data source1 -
Take it out from the SQL!Thanks
