On Prem BC Extension - AAD Authentication

Hi,
We have BC15 (Wave 2) installed on prem and set up to authenticate with Azure AD i.e. the NAV Service uses AccessControlServices as authentication type. Now, we're trying to create an extension using VSCode and in the launch.json file , we have set authentication to AAD.
Could you kindly explain how to download symbols and authenticate at this point, please? When I tried to download symbols via cmd how we used to do previously using the generatesymbolreference command, it fails due to missing finsql.exe (probably since RTC is gone in this version).
Thanks in advance!
