Error 18 in module 244 (With a twist)

I have read http://www.mibuso.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2738 and we are going to change our NIC.
However, I get the error DIRECTLY on the Navision server? I'm running the ExpanditLaunchUtil which starts the client. How can the network be the problem when the client is on the same server as the Navision server?

I get the same error for a client right now using terminal services. My guess the packets are still going through the network?0
