Calculate Depreciation Batch Job

Hi,
I am trying to run the calculate depreciation batch job with some difficulty. I have depreciation start and end dates for all assets. My FA posting date should include all these assets.
Yet when I run the batch job, no journal lines are created. The dialogue box comes up and runs through all items saying "Not Depreciating Asset"
Is there any other reason why this would happen?
