it is not possible to edit the layout with the report builder

I'm using nav 2017
I installed reportbuilder3 from NAV.10.0.14199.NA.DVD\Prerequisite Components\Microsoft SQL Server

I changed in Nav dev tools->options->use report builder to 'yes'

but still i'm getting this error message, when view->layout



Please help me guys

Try installing the dev environment from the master setup.
Also make sure, your TEMP folder is on a local drive, is accessible using OEM and Ansi encoding and does not contain any components requiring Unicode.

what do you mean by master setup?

by master setup I refer to setup.exe located in the root folder of the DVD/Zip-download.

That seems to be a strange one, See if re-installation or Repair helps?
