Hi All
In the context of using MRP and the Planning Worksheet is anyone using Lot 4 Lot and Safety Stocks to successfully manage inventory of purchased items? The issuer is after placing an order to re3plenish the safety stocks MRP responds by suggesting cancellation of the order and a new order raised for immediate delivery.
With several thousand items and lead time ranging between 3 days and 6 months its not possible to keep manually checking every suggestion on the worksheet. The use of Reorder points is not desired as I do not want to reorder if there are no future requirements.
