for what purpose it use & how to use this in report

Flowfields can contain the DateFilter in their calculation filter. So when you set a date range on the DateFilter field by using Setrange. The flowfields are calculated with that filter. Ex. Sales field shows all sale on a customer, if you set the DateFilter the field will only show the sale from within the period set in DateFilter.
@Juhl i didn't get. Can be please elaborate Actually I used this field in my report in required filt field and above code in rep. As said by senior but I don't know why it taken in report and how it works for report
