How to setup a Business Central on-premise local machine to access the BC on-prem in VM Azure.

Hello,
We have installed D365 BC on-premise on VM which is in Azure. We want the users to connect their local machine into the BC on-premise which is in VM azure. My question is, how to setup a BC on-premise windows client to access the BC on-premise over WAN? Is this possible using the clickonce? if yes, can you please let me know the documents or web links.
