Job Queue Entry unexpectedly stops being executed, but haven't failed?

NAV2018 CU 12.

A customer is frequently experiencing Job Queue Entry in state Ready that simple doesn't execute as expected. If we set the job On-hold, and back to Ready, then it normally starts fine.

We haven't found the steps to reproduce it.

Anyone experiencing the same or have an idea what is going on?
