My customer wanted to update or read through RESTFULL APIs, customer is using NAV 2016IN. Though we understand that for calling the third party vendor REST full APIs we could achieve in the NAV 2016, but we cant expose our code unit as RESTFULL APIs only SOAP service is possible. We have suggested customer that we will wrap it up with one more layer of dot net which will consume NAV SOAP based API and expose the same to the 3rd party vendor as RESTFULL APIs. They are not fine with this solution since there would be multiple hits would happen to the APIs and they don’t want any delay because of the dot net wrapper APIs. Is there any way which NAV 2016 can directly expose as RESTFULL APIs or provide SDKs to the third party to consume our NAV process directly.
