Navision 2013 development

Hello,

My new company needs to do a lot of changes in Navision, but currently we have just monthly subscription with 10 full users. Navision is not modified a lot. One partner offered us to migrate to ms nav 365. The problem is we need to to a lot development inside by company needs. But with nav 365 from what I read there is even bigger problem to develop on it, because licencing for development is even more expensive. What is best solution to move forward in you opinion? Or to buy 2013 version app builder licence with 10 CALS which will cost 20k+. Plus developing more on 2013 version will add to future migration costs. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

    Hello @BlankName,

With BC and extensions you don't need to purchase any dev license, everything is done with VS Code and AL.

If BC is "on-premise" you need to purchase the objects that you need to create.

    Regards.

Sometimes it is better way to outsourse developement. It might be cheaper than buying dev licences.
