    and your blog was one I tried for a solution, but its not working for me (chapter Changing route directory for Docker)
    When setting data-root and restarting service the daemonfile disappears

    Unfortunately, we haven't encountered this problem, but having in mind that you are working on a server and file is disappearing I might think that you probably don't have permission to create that file. Another possibility is that you accidentally instead of restarting Docker service, reinstalled it. Another solution that you can try is to create a Daemon.json file and edit it as admin. I hope it will help you to solve your problem!
